topic Sharing a video playback and sound during a Webex Meeting in Webex Meetings and Webex App

Hi,

I have a video that I need to playback during the meeting. Everything works except the sound level of the original video is soft, so it comes through as soft in the Webex Conference. Even at a max volume setting. The video plays through the Windows Media Player. Is there a way to boost the sound level so attendees on the webex meeting can hear the sound better? Thank you!

@Alex57
Since I am not sure if do fully understand the issue, my suggestions may perhaps not hit the point:

In case the video itself is too silent, you may try to use another Video-Player application like VLC (freeware) which allows the Audio to be boosted up to 200%. (use the mousewheel since the volume-slider stops at 125%)
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html
If you do not want to install any software on your computer, you may use the portable-Version (.ZIP = no installation/no admin-rights needed; just unzip the package and run the software).

Another option may be to "edit" the video to increase the Volume of the Audio-Track in the Videofile:
perhaps with a free tool like "XMedia Recode" which is also available as portable-Version: https://www.xmedia-recode.de/en/
(such tools are usually not self-explanatory... I may give you some hints, if you want to go that way..)

The replies in this thread is WRONG. Why is it so hard for Cisco Webex to understand this question:

HOW DO I PLAYBACK AUDIO (NOT MIC) THROUGH WEBEX?

When sharing your screen, there is a checkbox (or dropdown) to "Share computer audio" and "Optimize for Video". I think the naming might be different depending if you're using the Webex (Teams) app or the Webex Meetings app, but the option is there when selecting a screen or app to share.
