In the WebEx Options > General > Availability and status. Do you have this option enabled (checked) to let people know your status?

I've try & error with my team recently. It is seems that when you join webex meeting thru link, your status will not appear with video symbol which indicates you're in a meeting. But, if you join thru webex app, by clicking the 'Join' button either thru webex meeting calendar ot webex pop-up, your status will show the video symbol.

Hope this helps.

p/s:Maybe webex team cam have a look into this, why is it the status not sync or link if user jpin thru webex link instead of apps.
