Webex Teams - Chat opening in new window. (Do not want a separate window to open)

Is there a way to "turn off" a IM chat window from automatically opening in a separate window in Webex Teams?

I don't want a separate window to open and I can't find a way to turn this off. I only see a way to "open in new window" which it does automatically.

Are you double-clicking those chat entries in the Webex app window? They should not pop out to a separate window when you single-click, but can be opened in another window with a double-click.

I didn't even notice that is what I was doing.. I was double clicking! How simple and thank you for asking.. That is the trick!
