I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, bot 32 and 64bits versions. No improvement.

I was working with an old i5 laptop un-updated, but I've been forced to update the webex meeting app and now I'm experiencing the problem too.

It's only happening with the mouse input, as far as my typing on consoles is pretty realtime responsive.

It sounds like you're experiencing an unusual issue with remote sessions where the mouse pointer freezes after a few minutes of usage. While it's difficult to pinpoint the exact cause without more information, it's worth checking the functionality of the mouse itself to rule out any hardware-related problems.

I recommend using the ClickTester website to verify if your mouse is working properly by performing the 10-second CPS Test.

Sounds like a power-saving issue. Try checking the USB power settings on the remote PC—go to Device Manager, find the mouse, open Properties, and in Power Management, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device.

Also, need to Control Panel = Power Options = USB settings and turn off USB selective suspend.

If you’re unsure if the mouse is responding properly, you can test it with this cps-counter. If that doesn’t help, updating drivers might do the trick

It sounds like your system may be putting the mouse or USB ports into a low-power state during idle time, which causes the remote mouse to freeze. Try adjusting your device's power management settings to prevent USB suspension. Meanwhile, if you're testing mouse functionality or responsiveness for troubleshooting, tools like mycpstest.fr can help assess click activity and responsiveness.

I recently discovered a very useful mouse testing website that can check the condition of your mouse scroll wheel through scrolling tests. If you want to see whether your mouse is damaged, you can try Mouse Test.
