Possible bug? New Webex interface update is eating up CPU resources

If I have ANY contact or group pinned as favorite, the webex app constantly utilizes my CPU between 23% and 28% even if i move it to the background! If I remove all "favorite" pinned contacts/groups, CPU utilization drops to normal levels.

Anyone having this problem? Is there a fix for this weird bug?

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm on Windows 10 and WebEx Version: 41.11.0.20606

It took me a while to discover why WebEx was causing this high utilization issue and it was very annoying because I had to work for a week with the laptop getting too warm for the touch as well as put up with fan noise because it was running constantly.

Thanks for posting your findings/issue here in the Webex Community. You are absolutely right. This is a bug that has been recognized by our TAC team. True this is a real bug and solved with the newest WebEx version. I haven't yet tried to upgrade yet so can't confirm if it actually works but i do believe them if they identified it and said it is resolved.
