I do not know about such selection to be possible in Webex, and I suspect it is not present there. I think that Webex just uses a system call, like "OpenLinkInBrowser", or whatever it is called. However, there is a way to easily check whether this is the case. As far as I understand (please correct me if I am wrong), Chrome is your default browser at the moment. What happens if you set Edge as your system default browser and click a link in Webex App chat? If it spawns Edge now, then we can be pretty sure that Webex simply uses the system default browser.

I use Edge for my work login and Chrome for my personal login. When I click a link in WebEx chats, it always spawns Chrome when I want it to spawn Edge. Is there a way in the WebEx app to have it spawn Edge (or a browser other than my system's default browser ) when I click a link in the WebEx app?

Hi @Phillip.Blanton ,

I think you'll find that is pretty standard and expected behaviour - it's kind of the whole point of having a default system browser! I'd hate to have to troubleshoot user issues where the users have defined a dozen different browsers for a dozen different apps. Perhaps even more annoying is when Microsoft open Edge rather than the default, or macOS opens Safari!

So, I think the best answer to your problem is to NOT use the Webex App. Instead, create a separate instance of Edge that runs the Webex web user interface as an app - as explained here - the article does a specific Edge example towards the end.

I hope this helps.

Don't forget to mark answers as correct if it solves your problem. This helps others find the correct answer if they search for the same problem.

Yeah. I know that's how it works, but I want Chrome as my default browser
for everything but WebEx.

Then the short answer is "It does not work that way" (by design), and I will second what @RedNectar said in his comment.
