topic Webex does not connect reliably without VPN (DNS lookup?) in Webex Meetings and Webex App

I am currently working extensively with Webex of my University over my Laptop running Fedora 35.

If I try to start the Webex Client, It sometimes loads for several minutes (as the Firefox debugger states, the DNS lookup takes so long). Also the audio connection takes for several minutes. This problem can be solved by connecting to the VPN via AnyConnect, however this introduces different problems, as I've already asked here. The connection problem is only present on this Laptop (other devices connect immediately).

Thus, my question is, if there exists another way to fix this behavior to be able to connect without the VPN in a reliable manner.

Thanks in advance and best regards
