First of all, it is Webex, not WebEx...

I think you are referring to the Webex App when talking about the "updated Webex meetings app", right? The one with all workloards like messaging, calling, and meeting included.

You may connect the Webex app to your local Outlook installation via the settings menu. Then it should have a look into your appointments and also list your contacts when searching.

Depending on your deployment (ie. when having a paid subscription and control hub access), you may also use a Hybrid Calendar integration. We use that and it's really the easiest way to schedule meetings: Simply create an appointment in Outlook, set the location @webex and let the connector do the rest (ie. creating a meeting, update all attendees etc).

Please could someone advise how I can connect a local calendar to the newly-updated WebEx meetings app for desktop. The problem I have is that the WebEx software is looking for a calendar linked to my WebEx-registered e-mail address, when I use an Outlook calendar for all my appointments that is linked to a private e-mail address. Ideally, I would just like to connect my calendar to WebEx using a local filepath. Is that possible?

Thank you. That's very helpful, however the option to 'Connect Webex to
Microsoft Outlook' is greyed out until enabled by our administrator. We use
an IT consultancy for our Webex provisioning, so I think I am going to have
to contact them. Thanks again.
