I believe you are no longer seeing the option because at one point in time you answered yes this prompt in your browser:

The easy way to bring this option back, so that you can join in browser again it to reset your browser to default. In Chrome settings, under advanced, you'll see reset and cleanup, where you can do this. The downside is it resets everything of course.
In Firefox, I am able to bring this back by simply deleting the cookies and site data for webex.com.

I much prefer the browser version versus the app, and it used to be that when I'd click to start a meeting it would give me the option to open in browser instead. In the last week or so it now automatically launches the app even when I've already started the meeting via browser, so I end up having two versions of the meeting open. Is there a place in the settings to stop it from automatically launching the app? Do I need to delete the app to get it to return to the browser only version?

Thanks

When clicking the link, the Webex app's meeting window will appear. That one can be closed without joining the meeting. You browser will still show the web page allowing you to switch to "Join by Web"

Thanks for the reply, however this doesn't answer my question.

That's just it... I've been doing that for months, but all of a sudden it now self starts the app as well as opening the "join by web." Can I turn off the self-start feature?
