iOS doesn’t allow Webex to remain running in the background unless there is an active VoIP call. The only shot-in-the-dark guess I can think of is location access. Try setting it to While Using the App instead of Always in iOS Preferences. If that fixes the issue I suggest opening a TAC case and working with them to get a bug created so it’s fixed for everyone.

Hi everyone, I’ve been noticing for the past few months that my iPhone battery is getting drained within a few hours. It seems that the battery usage is happening even when I’m not using the app. I have closed the app when not using but it still says I’m using it. This morning I have made no phone calls and the app is closed but I have used 25% of my battery. It’s now 10am and I unplugged the phone at 7:30am. What’s going on and is there a fix for this? I have a new battery in the iPhone so it’s not that. I’m on a iPhone 14 pro running iOS 16.5.1 (c) Help appreciated <LI-EMOJI id="lia_grimacing-face" title=""></LI-EMOJI>
