The initial cut/batch is easy because there is no one else already on WxC-MT. It gets a little trickier on subsequent cuts because other users that have already moved won’t route back to CUCM for a given TN or extension if it’s configured in WxC-MT but has yet to actually cutover. Once you get to the second batch/cut you’ll need to use CSV files to assign the user a WxC-MT license and number during your maintenance window. You can also use the manage calling data CSVs to bulk edit other settings, if needed.

Since you’re coming from CUCM, it’s also worth mentioning that Cisco built a pair of migration tools for you. The same consideration about when you enable a user for WxC-MT applies with these tools though. Unofficial walkthrough videos:

Hello Expert,

Is there any way to port the DIDs, add users and devices to a Webex without interference with a call manager. My goal is to prep for sites migration by doing all necessary work on the Webex Control Hub and on the day of the migration, all I have to do is add config into the VOIP Gateway and convert the phones to MPP from the call manager and of course delete user from it.

Thanks

BigK
