Hello <LI-EMOJI id="lia_slightly-smiling-face" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"></LI-EMOJI>

I would like to create a bot which will initialize the conversation with the user by sending some reminders (from the external app). In the documentation there is not a single word about bot starting communication with the user. Do you know if it's possible? (With person starting the conversation and asking the question everything works as expected).

Moreover, if it didn't work, would the special user with Webex account send messages in the same way as above? Is there any Webex API for that? I'm just wondering if there is a way to work around the method above.

Thank you in advance <LI-EMOJI id="lia_slightly-smiling-face" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"></LI-EMOJI>

Perhaps it's one of those things that is taken for granted, but: yes! Bots accounts are very similar in capabilities to regular end-user accounts (though there are a few restrictions), and can initiate new direct conversations with Webex users.
This is a use-case often known as 'chat ops': https://developer.cisco.com/search/chat%20ops/
