Create Meeting with Template via XML API

Hi! Is there a way to create meetings using a template. I see it can be done via the User Interface but don't know what field in the XML API corresponds to the template:

It looks like you can specify a template in the meta data section via 'use':

though I don't see a way to create a template from scratch via API.
