Events API for Business Texting

We really would like to use Business Texting feature in our organization. However, there is NO way to archive or retain the messages for industries that are regulated like Finance, Healthcare, etc. This is a critical requirement to use this feature as regulators REQUIRE you archive all messaging to/from external parties, especially clients/patients!

Business texting has been available since beginning of the year but not usable for a vast majority of corporate customers due to this limitation. When will this be solved for? At minimum, the Events API should be able to capture this data.

@rajbhatia the Webex Calling Business Texting - Event API feature is currently already in development, but we do not have a concrete ETA for it. Engineering is aware of this and is working on the implementation. Thank you for your patience

Thanks for the response, Janos. Are you aware of any providers/partner firms that are helping you test this added feature while you develop it? Firms like Global Relay and Theta Lake come to mind as potential partners you may know of. Thanks!

Hi @rajbhatia,
I don't think initially any external Organization come into the scenario for testing purpose, at least once it's in development phase Mostly the internal testings are done with the help of Sandbox test orgs.
Once the Beta release is ready, based on the requirement - few of the Orgs are enabled with the feature. But that's entirely dealt by the Product management team.
If something is business critical - we get to know from them to keep a close eye on those Orgs.
Otherwise it's not something we get to know or, handle those close calls. Let us know for any further queries.
