Changing Profile Picture automatically

Hey,

I wanted to automatically change my profile picture in Webex. To do that I read through the API, but I didn't find a way to change the profile picture of a user via the Webex API. Did I miss something or is it not possible?

I would be really happy if someone could help me with this.

Admins may change a persons avatar using https://developer.webex.com/docs/api/v1/people/update-a-person

Thank you for your reply. Is there a way to change your own profile picture without having admin rights? Maybe with a integration?

Hi @Alex,
You should be able to change your own Avatar using the API provided above - https://developer.webex.com/docs/api/v1/people/update-a-person
In case you want to change the Avatar of other people in your Org, that's where you need the Admin rights.
However, there shouldn't be any problem in updating your own Avatar, that should work fine.
Are you getting any error if you try to do so, please let us know in case you're getting an error with that API Request and you can share the details devsupport@webex.com and we can take that further.
