    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Team,&lt;BR /&gt;I am using SCIM2.0 User's Patch operation.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;When I send a request &lt;STRONG&gt;without escape&lt;/STRONG&gt; character, request getting executed successfully.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="prashantchinchkar_0-1729543101650.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.cisco.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/231959iF5B1F8DEBA0BB71D/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="prashantchinchkar_0-1729543101650.png" alt="prashantchinchkar_0-1729543101650.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But when I am executing same request with escape characters, then I am getting 500 Internal server error&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="prashantchinchkar_1-1729543198693.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.cisco.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/231960iCCE444DE4A2D7645/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="prashantchinchkar_1-1729543198693.png" alt="prashantchinchkar_1-1729543198693.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I checked for the input string and it's getting validated correctly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="prashantchinchkar_2-1729543271991.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.cisco.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/231961i687E858DAFA9B75D/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="prashantchinchkar_2-1729543271991.png" alt="prashantchinchkar_2-1729543271991.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Could you please help me here, what's going wrong ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Prashant&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In the first case, you're sending a json object as expected. In the faulty case, you're sending the whole json object as a string (take a look at the leading/trailing quotes). So you do not just mask the quotes but you're also sending a different payload.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The backend might try to parse the payload and expects a json object but just gets a string.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
