USBPcap? Does the USB adapter install that? That sounds like it might be from Wireshark. It sounds like it would be the USB packet capture driver so Wireshark can capture USB traffic.

Hi all,

I have a problem with the USB adapter on my HP EliteBook 850 G6. The adapter is resetting my USB port even after removal and repeatedly (which is annoying) .

In the Event viewer of my HP laptop I have this "Detected unrecognized USB driver (\Driver\USBPcap)."

On my Device Manger I have an error saying "Device Descriptor failed"

The only way to stop the constant cycle of USB down then up then down, is to reboot (I tried disabling)

I upgraded the Headphones

I upgraded Bios and Windows 10 (updates). Still no change.

I 'm using Laptop's Bluetooth as a work around. Is it just me?
