topic How do I enable the hardware mutton button outside of a call? in Webex Devices

I have a Webex Desk Pro, and for the most part, its really awesome. But one of the killer features is that it can connect to a laptop via USB-C and act as a second monitor and extend the camera and mic to the host computer. This allows me to join conference services that don't have native Webex integration and is the primary reason why I purchased this thing.

One of the most annoying "features" is that the hardware mute button is disabled unless its in a "call". However, the device doesn't know when its in a "call" when its connected to the PC. Thus, the hardware mute button is disabled. Seems a pretty basic oversight, given my use case is an advertised use for this chatrandomazar device.

I did get around it by coding up a mute button via an action button. But there has to be a better way to actually enable this.

Thanks
