Why do some MPP devices have a flashing cloud icon on the display and some icons are solid?

I have customer who has a phone that shows as inactive in Control Hub however, the phone is up and running and has a flashing cloud icon vs. a solid icon. Not sure if there is an explanation or reason for this.

Thanks!

Hi; I’ve noticed the flashing based on two scenario’s:

1) available bandwidth and or distance from the configured region of the handset ( I.e. you are testing a handset that is assigned to a site in the Hong Kong region but are testing from the US) this would indicate latency and or low bandwidth when hitting that regions registration landing

2) New firmware to be uploaded and upgraded during off hours depending if you have the control hub controlling the firmware of handsets via the beta program
