This issue is caused because a bad bandwidth in the client/participant side. After reading in the Webex knowledge site, the recommendation is share desktop with PowerPoint, do not share file. Best Regards

sharing slideshow with powerpoint

I run training sessions for a client using their Webex platform. I join via the my Webex App and the host makes me host. I click on file and share to display my slides and then my powerpoint doesn't always load. I am shown an orange progress bar which stops at under halfway through loading and then I am kicked out and have to start again. Sometimes the slides load straight away but often I have to work from a colleague's slide show as mine won't load. . How can I overcome this? Any ideas welcome! Thank you in advance.

Hi janeowens50!

This too has happened to me before when sharing my PowerPoint using Share > File. This is how I fix it.

I use a PC, so I perform a Ctrl - Alt - Delete and to into my task manager. Once the task manager opens locate anything (Under "Apps" or Background processes") that says "Microsoft PowerPoint" and end the task. That should do the trick!
