Hello,

From what I've found, the IR1101 can be configured to forward these Layer-2 GOOSE messages with IEDs.

IR1101 Application Hosting: GOOSE protocol

Hi, everyone.

I can generate, deploy, activate and run the my own Docker type C based application on the IR-1101, and this application works correctly using the IP protocol. But a requirement of this application is to run a GOOSE subscriber to receive events from IEDs.

As GOOSE is a Layer 2 protocol, i.e., messages are transported over Ethernet (the Ethertype field is set to 0x88B8), how to configure IR1101 so that the GOOSE packet is somehow routed to the container? Note that the GOOSE stack implementation uses raw sockets to receive raw GOOSE packets.

Thanks in advance.

Andre Chrcanovic
