Jabber on Iphone

Good afternoon,

Downloaded Jabber on IPhone today and for some reason the phone call icon is greyed out, cannot be used. can go to settings>keypad and dial fine but for some reason the phone call icon cannot be used. cannot find anything online regarding IOS issue or jabber issue. no issues on desktop or with older version of jabber on I-Pad. also on contacts no extension info displayed. but again desktop-ipad all well and good.

You need to look into your directory integration, that's the expected behavior, if the contacts don't have a DN configured, you cannot press the dial button on them.

Well i believe it worked before, but its been awhile, and would not the desktop jabber and i-pad reflect the same? or is there a field that is specific to the i-phone.

No, J4W uses EDI integration, all other Jabber options use BDI, they need to be configured each.

Also, since its working on i-pad should it not be the same for i-phone?? Ipad even displays mobile phone numbers under contacts. very strange or are the-Ipads vs Iphones all different?
