topic Question on in Collaboration Applications

Question on

1) Per documentation that is the case (MC40 only on 4.4.1) and only Voice Mode (aka Phone mode). I have double checked at different location, it is the same -

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/11_5/CJAB_BK_C6FFF6D8_00_cisco-jabber-115-planning-guide/CJAB_BK_C6FFF6D8_00_cisco-jabber-115-planning-guide_chapter_010.html#CJAB_RF_H7384B44_00

2) It is very unlikely you will see defect CSCui44032 since its has been fixed couple of years given version 9.5.1.

Jabber on Symbol MC40

In the latest release notes,

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/Android/11_5/rn/JABA_BK_C61B858C_00_cisco-jabber-for-android-115.html

It lists that the Symbol MC40 is supported with the following two caveats. 1) Voice Mode only and 2) it only lists 4.1.1 OS instead of other platforms that list something like 4.4.1 or later.

From this am I to conclude that Jabber may not work on the MC40 at all with Android OS 4.4.4?

Also will I be running into BugID CSCui44032 because the IP addresses of the server are 10.0.60.x?

I do have a TAC Case open for this.
