Can Jabber show a custom status message for people who are not signed in?

Hello,

I would like Jabber to replace the typical sign in/sign out board functionality, but it doesn't show any information once someone logs off.
It would be ideal if they could set a message like " Out with client back at 2pm" and have it show once they shut down their laptop and head out.

Any ideas on how to make it function this way?

custom status messages are only for the following states;

Avaiable (Green)

Away ( yellow)

Do not Disturb (red)

and they have to be selected by the end users themselves before leaving. There is no option for custom offline messages as of now with jabber.

There are no sticky status options in Jabber, you only configure a status when you're logged in.

If you wish to have this in the feature, reach your AM to submit a PER, or add yourself there's already one available.
