Cisco Jabber on an iPhone in Retail Store

I have a customer that has five 8851 phones in a retail store with a main number and 5 analog lines set up in a hunt group and all the phones share the same line appearances. The phones are not assigned to a specific employee but they want their employees that work at the store to carry their iPhone loaded with Jabber to take any calls that come into the store to any of the 8851 phones, how does the employee with the iPhone Jabber client sign in to take calls going to those phones?

You should use sharedlines

You should use sharedlines between jabber/phones, what kind of jabber deployment do you have?

Have you implemented Jabber

Have you implemented Jabber yet as per the deployment guide?

I would start by following the Cisco guides, its fairly straight forward.

Effectively the Iphone is just another device within CUCM, you should see it as a device type when adding a new phone.
