MRA - Phone only

We are currently planning a MRA deployment in two phases. First phase will be phone only mode and second phase would add IM&P services. Is this phased approach supported? Any concern with deploying IM&P servers as phase 2 after we implement MRA phone only mode in phase 1?

Can you comment on directory integration one more time? Does directory integration still work differently while connecting internal vs. external over MRA?

Yes, that's possible, you simply adjust that via the service profile as you do on-prem to determine if a Jabber client gets full UC, or phone only.

UDS is used over MRA, that's explained in the MRA guide.

Any reason you would want to wait? CUP server is most likely the easiest build to accomplish. Now with 10.5 the integration is even tighter with more CUP administration done on CUCM.
