Jabber - Outlook Presence when in a meeting

Hi,

Customer is using office 365 in the cloud so it cannot be integrated with Jabber.However, in Jabber , File>Option>Status there is:

in a meeting ( accoring to my calendar),

When I check this box, it does not work.

Can anyone help me? it should be pretty straight forward. Jabber version is 9.2.0.

Are you using WebEx Connect or the on-premise IM&P server? If the later this checkbox is a request of the IM&P server to subscribe to your calendar over EWS. It's a server-to-server integration, not Jabber to Outlook.

Hi Jonathan,

We are using on-premise. On the other hand when we check that box, Jabber reads information from OST file of outlook.

No need to have integration with Exchange, customer has office 365 and unfortunatly Presence 9.1 is not able to integrate with office 365. I opened a TAC case but still no luck. Please have a look:

Client-Side 'In a meeting' Availability Status

Cisco Jabber for Windows now includes the following checkbox on the Status tab of the Options window:

In a meeting (according to my calendar)

Users can select this checkbox to enable client applications such as Microsoft Outlook and IBM Lotus Notes to update the availability status in Cisco Jabber for Windows.
