Hello Kai -

This question, would probably be best in the TelePresence section of the forums, since the MSE 8510 is a TelePresence product, but I'll try and answer your question.

I understand the issue, , however, it's been a while since I've upgraded our MSE 8510 blades, and don't recall if I ever experienced it. I can try and upgrade one of my blades and see if it does it for me.

Have you tried a different browser, or perhaps reset IE to see if still does it?

Cisco Codian becomes active software window while updating its content (every 15 seconds)

Hello,

I work on a Cisco Codian 8510. The Cisco Software runs in Internet Explorer. The Cisco software windows updates itself every 15 seconds. Now the problem: through updating itself the Cisco software window becomes the active window, it switches automatically to its window even you work in another software window. Before we used Windows XP and had no such problems, now we upgraded to Windows 7 and we see this strange behaviour. Is there any solution for that ? I mean the Cisco Codian window should update its content without becoming the active window.

Any answer is appreciated, thanks a lot,

best regards,

Kai

I just tested upgrading my MSE 8510 blade, had no issue where the software upgrade page came to the front, it remained in the back behind my other active applications. I'm running Windows 7 with IE10.
