Hello Community,

We have a CUCM 7.1.5 + CUC 7 setup here in my office. Until now, we have been using Cisco Mobile 8.1 (iPhone) for quite some time now, and we found it to be pretty stable (although with some bugs that other solutions do not have!) and extremely useful.

When Cisco released Jabber (and removed Cisco Mobile 8.1 from the App Store) we did some tests, found them to be satisfactory, and got all the iPhones updates with the new version.

What we have found is that Jabber is extremely buggy (iOS 4+, iOS5) and more annoyingly, calls will cut off after about 1m30s.

We have a number of softphones operating on laptops using our company WiFi which work perfectly in addition to CIPC which also works like a charm over WiFi in the office, so we are sort of ruling out that the problem is network related.

Has anybody had this same experience?

Cheers,

Just as additional information:

We have installed a 3rd party SIP client on some of our iPhones, have configured appropriately the devices in CUCM and we can now call perfectly well using the 3rd party client. I personally made a 2 hour conference call participation yesterday using the 3rd party client with no issues and crystal clear audio, so apparently the issue is Cisco Jabber related.
