Jabber error - 407 proxy authentication

Hi All

One user complaining that his jabber account session timeout frequently. I took PRT and analyzed through translatorX i could see 407 Proxy authentication required. Please refer to the attachment.

Anyone in the group that could assist me on this issue?

Hi Pragash,

A defect was opened for Jabber on Apple iOS 12.0 timing out when application runs in the background. When Jabber is brought to foreground, notifications start coming through. This is not a Jabber specific defect, but rather an Apple iOS 12.0 one. I am not sure if this is the symptom user reported to you (Jabber does not show IM/calls when at background), but would be good to see if other users running older iOS versions notice the same.

Thank you for your reply. Yes you are correct, User got attached errors and the jabber session disconnects often.
