Hi Experts,

Cisco systems 2911 CME Router, looking a remote android Softphones (Cisco Jabber) for some of the users over VPN .

1. what is the minimum hardware and software requirement for smooth running for Cisco Jabber

2. Regarding the Jabber android License, is it subscription or perpetual. we are looking perpetual solution

3. current firmware or CME version 9.0 is it supportive cisco jabber?

Jabber for Windows was the only Jabber that was ever supported on CME, and it's not supported anymore.

You need CUCM if you wish to use Jabber.

Jabber documentation outlines the requirements for backend servers and clients.

No, the only client we have for Android is Jabber, and it requires CUCM.
