Hi Experts,

I'm new in Cisco unity connection. Please suggest me is there need Cisco unity connection application server license? If yes, what is the part number for that (specially cuc version 11.5)?

Please brief the require all licenses for CUC.

and what are the necessity in the below parts?

UCXN-11X-SC-PORTS
UCXN-11X-UWL-STD

These two SKU are part of Cisco's CUWL user licensing - CUWL-11X-K9

You can get Basic Unity Connection only licensing, for example if integrating with a non CUCM PBX. The top level SKU is UNITYCN11-K9, and you can select the number of users and speech connect ports required.

If using CUCM, then sticking with CUWL would be the preferred option.

Hi there

In Cisco Unity Connection 10.x and 11.x , licenses are required to use the various features purchased by the customers. To use the licensed features on Unity Connection, the licenses for the corresponding features must be installed on the Enterprise License Manager (ELM) server and Unity Connection must communicate with the ELM server to obtain the license status. The ELM server provides centralized, simplified, and enterprise-wide management of user-based licensing.

With the UCXN-11X-SC-PORTS SKU you can enable all ports on the system to support Speech Connect (dial by name in Directory Handlers) on the system.

Please note from CUC 12.X licensing structure is totally changed and its Smart Licensing now.
