I amy be wrong, as I have always set like for like priority - but I believe the standalone SCCP priority takes place for signaling traffic, but the group priority takes precedence for any media profiles configured for the group.

Hello community,

I have a question regarding the meaning of the priority commands when configuring a Hardware conference bridge on a IOS router.

The first commands where I can specify a priority are these:

sccp ccm 10.1.1.1 identifier 1 priority 1 version 7.0 trustpoint serv0001
sccp ccm 10.1.1.2 identifier 2 priority 2 version 7.0 trustpoint serv0002

and then within the ccm group:

associate ccm 2 priority 1
associate ccm 1 priority 2

My question is, which setting takes precedence and why are there two separate places to configure these?

Thank you in advance.
