Hi!

I have done more research regarding the way to find the current devices registered to CUCM, and there is in fact a way.

From the RTMT side:

Go to RTMT (Login with the CUCM Credentials) > Voice and Video > Device Search > Phone

Then you will see the following screen:

You can select the:

Registered Devices

Unregistered Devices

Partial Registered

Rejected ones

Any status

And for each option, you can select:

Any CUCM

Specific CUCM

Then you'll see the following screen, with the following options

Any Status

Successful

Downloading

Fail

Afterwards, you can select:

Any Model

Specific Model (CSF in this case, but you can select the ones for iPhones, tablets or Androids)

You can select which attributes to look for and monitor:

This is what you'll see at the end.

Unfortunately, there is no way to check if it is a phone mode only device or IM with a phone mode device.

What is best way to find current Jabber devices registered in CUCM?

Hi, Community doctors: I have found this subject, how to find jabber user last login? https://community.cisco.com/t5/collaboration-applications/how-to-find-jabber-user-last-login/td-p/2552680 But I think it will be very useful to know if any way to find who are users using their Jabber devices like CSF, TCT, BOT, TAB currently logged on or registered to CUCM/IMP server. In IMP Server reporting tool, it can list current XMPP logged on users, but we have devices login to Jabber without XMPP by using the XML file to disable IM and Presence. Thank you.

Hi!

A way to check the active users logged in is using the following query: show perf list instances "Cisco XCP JSM Session Counters".

The active users have the prefix /jabber, while the active sessions have the prefix /composed.

After the prefix /jabber, there is a number, commonly larger numbers (above 6 digits) are associated to mobile devices (TCT, BOT, TAB), while smaller numbers are associated to CSF devices.

Furthermore, you can give a look unto this link: https://community.cisco.com/t5/collaboration-voice-and-video/collecting-jabber-reports/ta-p/3995188

Mr. miguecas: Appreciated for your guideline, It is very helpful and is another way to check your IMP server load. I wonder if this "XCP" count for TCT (iPhone Jabber) devices that we use Jabber XML to configure it as a phone(dialer) only. Those TCT logged in without IM, and use as phone only. Otherwise; your answers and the URL link document are wonderful and I appreciated your help.

Hi!

Unfortunately, currently there is not another exact way to monitor de IM&P Server Load, regarding the users that are logging. You can use the RTMT Application to monitor de overall performance and exact counters of the CUCM/IM&P servers, you can learn more on this link: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cups/7_0/english/serviceability/administration/guide/rtconfpm.html
For the counters to check the Cisco Jabber users that are logged in via Phone only or IM only, there is no way to check them.
If you control this based on group configuration you can pull device info from the database assuming you’re doing a report and not watching live stats. That looks like RIS data which won’t have the other properties.
