Hello Gary,

I realize that yours is an older post but many users still face this challenge, myself included. Rather than bouncing partial response ideas around, I have created one possible solution document here: https://community.cisco.com/t5/collaboration-voice-and-video/how-users-can-upgrade-jabber-for-windows-without-local-admin/ta-p/4060265

Obviously, there are many different ways one could approach this but this is how it has worked for me.

Hope this helps,

Matthias

I'd like to see an auto update feature developed for Jabber for windows. Similar functionality to the AnyConnect client where admin privileges are not required for upgrades to occur after the initial install.
