topic Jabber MRA without Public DNS SRV Records in Collaboration Applications

Dear All,

I want to deploy Cisco Jabber over MRA without an SRV record in Public DNS. The main goal is that only specific devices are allowed to connect to our network over MRA. Is there any installation switch or config parameter that I can push from my DMD solution so that the clients can connect to the Expressway Edge directly? The public DNS entry (A record) for Expressway edge will be created in the public DNS.

That is not an option. You need to solve this problem with SSO, typically using certificates-based authentication. The MDM solution would issue the authorized mobile device a certificate, Jabber/Teams would cross-launch to the OS native browser (eg Safari on iOS) that would provide the cert to the SAML IdP instead of prompting the user for credentials (the IdP must be configured to require this authorization method), and then the IdP would redirect/cross launch back to Jabber/Teams with the SAML response & cookie.
