Apparently there is better integration with that version of jtapi, according to their support team, and they want to be sure by testing between both platforms because version 12.5 currently gives them problems.

During the integration of the recording service of the NICE system with the CUCM installed, the following situation has occurred.
We have a Cisco Callmanager version 12.5 and the integrator component used is the JTAPI that supplies that version. I understand that the version of JTAPI is the same as that of Callmanager (12.5), however the integrator of the recorder requires for some tests that we provide the version of JTAPI 12.0 or 12.1 which we do not have.

Is it possible that I can download this version and continue with the integration of both platforms?

Since you are using CM 12.5 what reason does the integrator give for the need to have an older version of JTAPI to test with?

JTAPI can only be downloaded from CUCM, it's not available online.

AFAIK NICE are partner of the solution partner program and are listed in Cisco MarketPlace, not sure why they're asking you to provide the JTAPI files for this, when it should be their responsibility to get them for testing and compatibility purposes.

That's a serious BS response from your integrator. If there is a problem with the version of JTAPI for the version of CM that you're on the vendor and if applicable Cisco needs to step up and work it out. Reverting to an older version is not a fix, it's a band aid solution. That's my 2 cents on this.

We have a NICE update, which is requested by the support team, and that we test the previous version of JTAPI Tools, This is installing version 12.0 or 12.1 of JTAPI Tools

"Both versions are listed as supported in the NICE documentation, the only comment is that it requires the Nice version to be Engage 6.7.2 or higher, we are going to put Engage 6.15. Since we have found a documented case on the NICE website, this means that the problem is known and they propose this workaround to solve it.

For the Cisco 12.1 JTAPI version, maybe it's a special one or a bug in Nice's description."
