There is another option to what Java wrote. Instead of CFNA I would configure this with SNR, that’s short for Single Number Reach. This functionality is also known by Mobile Connect. The foremost benefit of SNR is that it allows the user themselves to control the time delay and time schedules for when to first ring on desk phone and then the remote destination phone via the user page of CUCM.

SNR can be setup with multiple types of configuration, either as a TCT/TAB/BOT device with a mobile identity tied to it, this is favoured if you have Jabber deployed on mobile devices, but is not a must for this to work. You could use these device types even if no one is using Jabber on their mobile devices. The other way is with RDP, Remote Destination Profile with a remote destination tied to it. The MI or RD holds the number of the remote party that should be rung after X seconds.

My company help desk says that this is not possible. Has this capability been removed in a recent release?

Currently using Jabber Version 12.5.1.27406 Build 277406

I am not an admin. Just some guy trying to get work done.

If it is possible, can you provide a link to documentation explaining how to do it?

That's simply CFNA, but you need to mention what call control you use, Jabber is just the endpoint. Reach out to your IT team for this, they can either configure it for you, or let you know if you can do it yourself if self care portal is available.

Many thanks for your reply. I will ask the IT team what call control is being used. It will probably be Monday before I can find out. Thanks.

I guess SNR (Single number reach) feature is best suitable for requirement and even you will get time schedule for outside line also ...

Many thanks, Roger. I will try to pass this on to our IT group. These acronyms are all new to me.

It sounds like this can be done. I do not know if our IT group does not yet know how to do it, or if they just don't want to do it.

I thought it was working as desired until we had a recent Jabber version upgrade.
