CER 11.5 Remote User Authentication Failed after LDAP update on CUCM

We recently updated the LDAP authenticaton on our CUCM 11.5 server to use a Secure LDAP pool. Authenticaton works fine on CUCM after the change. However, the same users that are configured as remote users on Cisco Emergency Responder no longer work. A "Invalid Username or Password." message pops up. Deleting and readding the users doesn't make a difference. I also tried to restart the Tomcat service to no avail. In trying to minimize downtime, are there any other options to restore login service?

Local users work fine but these users need to stay as remote users.

Not knowing any specifics about CER user functionality as I have no experience with this application I might be way off, but if I where to guess I would check if you have the certificate(s) for the CA that signed the LDAP certificate in the tomcat trust store?
