Hi all, I just deployed Webex on-prem server - all works great aside from SSO, but we'll figure it out.

Getting to the point of purchasing licenses and have some concerns.

In the Admin manual:

If you perform a major upgrade or disaster recovery on your system, you must configure new virtual machines and therefore you must also obtain new licenses.

The licenses are expenisive and I want to have a complete understaning of how do they attached to the servers.

Here the few possible scenarios and I would like to know in which case I will have to purchase a new licenses:

1. The hardware server (ESXI host) is dead. Virtual servers restored on a new hardware server, using VM backup tools.

2. VIrtual servers need to be restored to the same hardware servers (incorrect configuration, software failure, bugs ...)

3. Upgrade to the new software version (major\non-major).

4. Upgrade to the new systems size: 250 to 800.

Will appreciate any input.

Thank you.
