Hello to all,

I would like to know if we can deploy jabber by address , dont matter which user log on windows session, the jabber will always use the same jabber-profile.

We cannot use generic windws users, also we cannot use shared DN on jabber (thats the problem)

in the real life:

the windows user A log in on windows desktop A and the jabber will takes the DN 1001

the windows user B log in on windows desktop A and the jabber will takes the DN 1001

the windows user A log in on windows desktop B and the jabber will takes the DN 1002

the windows user B log in on windows desktop B and the jabber will takes the DN 1002

Thats exactly like Cisco IP Communicator works 10 years ago, but we can't use CIPC anymore

So, some know how can I configure maybe the XML file to manually use one profil, dont matter the windows user logged ?

thank you for all your help

No, that's not how Jabber works, Jabber has nothing to do with MAC addresses.

Jabber uses the userID at login to find the associated devices to that user, and if there's a CSF device associated (CSF in this case as you mention windows) it pulls that device information.

Create a userID for each computer and tell everyone to only use that userID on that computer
