Long distance calls sometimes work, sometimes dont

We have a help desk number that if you get the voicemail caller input for 0 is set to go to a translation patter (6991) in this case which then has the external call mask set to the on call tech for the week. If the number is a long distance number (218) in this case, the call sometimes works and other times says the long distance service is currently unavailable. Attached is the call analyzer for the long distance call (number has been manually replaced with #).

Its not clear what exactly your problem.

The mask which you applied is it for calling or called ?

I can see an alternative match on the analyser text. May be the alternative match causing the calls to fail sometimes.

The mask was for the called number. So it should look like this.

Call Help Desk Number ----> Press 0 ----> Transfers to translation pattern ----> Translation Pattern has enternal call mask set to employees cell phone.

This works as intended, without fail, when its a local number but is hit or miss when it isnt.

Also doing an analyzer of a working local number it has the same alternative matches. Not ruling that out as an issue but just pointing out it all appears to match a working number.

Take debugs from gateway for both working and non working calls and share it with us.
