topic Make Email Audio Voice Message from Unity Connection be Labeled Unique in Collaboration Applications

We simply forward voice mail messages from Unity Connection to our email service in the cloud, and the email (Gmail) shows the voice message as a generic "VoiceMessage.wav" attachment. As this is very similar to some common phishing scams, is there a way for Unity Connection to "relabel" the wave file so it's less generic? (Perhaps like "Acme Corp voice mail message" or some other means to validate it's authenticity, or at least make it less guessable of an attachment name than what a phisher would guess)?

Thanks!

Mike

Hi there

Dont think there is something out of the box from Cisco Unity Connection side. I would rather check on the exchange side if this can be done using any transport rules or scripting

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/use-transport-rules-to-inspect-message-attachments-exchange-2013-help

Hope this Helps

Cheers
Rath!

***Please rate helpful posts and if applicable mark "Accept as a Solution"***

Hope this Helps

Cheers
Rath!

***Please rate helpful posts and if applicable mark "Accept as a Solution"***
