PCD v15 floppy issue

Currently doing a test run in our lab environment of a 12.5.1 upgrade to 15 via PCD 15.0.1.12900 (latest as of Nov 11, 2024)...Also have a TAC case with Traci who has gone well above and beyond (698127180 - PCD 15 installation issues). We are moving from a small OVA to a large OVA thus the install fresh cluster which is where we are stuck at the moment.

Up to the point of the install task as per Traci everything is good, created new cluster for install, then create new task for install. Task gets setup successfully and seems to fail on attempting to mount the floppy.

Error message;

Message: Unable to mount the floppy image named floppy/425_172.16.126.55.flp stored in datastore hq-qa2-pcd01_NFS onto the VM named hq-qa2-cm00-15.Please check the ESXI logs for further details of the failure.

Any ideas/suggestions - I hear that thus far mounting floppy manually seems to do thte job but i'm not having much luck with that. I've even tried doing this wiht the ESXi host added to PCD as root and still no go.
