There is an enhancement request (CSCvg04700) to have CMA be deployed for all users and not the current logged in user, you should contact your Cisco Account Team with the bug ID so they can bring this up to the BU for consideration. The more customers that request a feature, the more likely it will get implemented.

One of our customers has reported problems with mass deploying the Cisco CMS Desktop App. The issue is that the the installer is profile locked. This means that they can’t push the installer out via software deployment tools such as LanDesk. The installer will only install for the user logged into the workstation at the time of the install. We have verified this by viewing the configuration of the installer via the Microsoft SDK tool called Orca. This was the same issue with the original Acano installer.

What would Cisco recommend to over coming this challenge?

Thanks,

David
