Thank you! You sent me info on how to federate hosted Jabber with Spark, however nothing about how to federate on-prem Jabber with Spark. Do you know if there is a solution? It appears Cisco only allows you to open Spark in a webpage via a Jabber tab, which doesn't even accommodate Spark Hybrid services. I'm really hoping there is better integration of these two products!!

Hello. I am looking for any documentation about possible integration of Spark and the Jabber for Windows client. In theory, something like a tab on Jabber that would allow you to access our Spark Teams and Spaces or allow you to speak directly to Spark users and spaces through the Jabber client. Maybe some type of federation? We are currently running Jabber on prem with CUCM/IM&P 10.5(2)SU4 and using Jabber Windows clients 11.9.3 I believe. Of course we can jump to Jabber v12 as well. Thanks!

Hi,

you can just add a custom tab to the Jabber config file. You may need to upgrade Jabber to v12 though.

<Client>
<jabber-plugin-config>
<browser-plugin>
<page refresh ="true" preload="true">
<tooltip>Spark</tooltip>
<url>https://teams.webex.com/spaces</url>
</page>
</browser-plugin>
</jabber-plugin-config>
</Client>
