topic How to clean Watchers in Jabber in Collaboration Applications

Hello,

I know there is now way to delete watchers in Jabber, but I noticed something strange.

When I check watchers to my user in the Presence Viewer, I can see some internal contact who left the firm there is few Months/Years ago and they still are in my watchers list.

We can have 200 watchers maximum per user, this means if the system doesn't make a automatic cleanup of peaple who left the firm, sooner or later I will reach the limit of 200 watchers...

What can I do in this case ? Do you have same scenario ?

Thanks

Cisco introduced a new CLI command (i.e. utils rosters) with release IM&P v11.5(1). Here you go;

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/rel_notes/11_5_1/SU2/cucm_b_release-notes-cucm-imp-1151su2/cucm_b_release-notes-cucm-imp-1151su2_chapter_010.pdf

Otherwise, you could always specify 'No Limit' for both contacts and watchers, or just watchers. XCP Router restart would be required. Granted, this doesn't resolve your problem with invalid watchers but it could be a Band-Aid fix action until you upgrade.
