topic I don't believe that's in Collaboration Applications

I don't believe that's possible because of the way that Jabber works, when you login with Jabber, it authenticates you, and then it has to pull all the devices that are associated to you, to choose the right one (CSF, TAB, BOT, SEP, etc) depending on the info you're sending, and use it for the registration.

But that user/device/line association, has to be in place BEFORE you login for this to work.

If it was possible, somewhere in the Jabber documentation you would see how to get CUCM configured for auto-registration, but that's not the case, the guide tells you to configure the device and associate it to the user.

CUCM AutoRegistration for Jabber CSF

Is this possible? I would love to set up users with the required roles, etc, and let them install Jabber on their PC, log in, and let the auto-reg features of CUCM do the rest. Any advice would be great, I am doing this to avoid Prime Collaboration Provisioning server. Thanks!

Thanks for the answer. I knew it, I guess, but I just didn't want to admit it. I guess I'm stuck using PCP...
