topic DNA License, lanbase, ipbase, ipservices etc in Cisco Catalyst Center

Hi everyone,

I'm confused about Cisco DNA Licensing, and what relationship it has with the traditional lanbase, ipbase and ipservices licenses etc. So, if I want the ipservices level of functionalities, when ordering, would I need to get the DNA Advantage? Or it's two separate things... Please could anyone help to explain ?

It all depends on featrures you looking to deploy in your environment and business needs :

DNA License only some old and all new Cat 9K Models - (the device support DNAC )

here is the matrix :

Thanks BB,

My workplace recently bought some IE4010s and C9500s. On the BOM licensing items were all "DNA..". On the IE4010s, they still run the RTU and on the C9500 no RTU available at all only says Smart Licensing ENABLED.

So were these licenses loaded on the switches when ordered?
