Purchasing MDM

Hi All

I have a customer that is looking to purchase MDM FOR 300 Devices,

Could you please advice me how many licenses are needed for 300 devices?

Also is there any other thing that needs to procure further?

Hello @Lawrence.Lathuba1, for 300 devices you'll require 300 SM licenses. 1 SM license allows you to manage 1 device from within Systems Manager.

There is no other hardware or licenses required to be procured to have the ability to use all the enterprise features from Systems Manager, You'll just need to pick whether you want to license the devices for 1, 3, 5 or 10 years.

Are these licenses transferrable, for example if my mobile phone dies and had to buy a new one,

can i use the same old license?

Yes. You'll be able to remove the old device from Systems Manager and then enroll the new device.
